The Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Estimator to join our team at our Rutherford Head office in NSW.

  • You will play a crucial role in the preparation of and submittal of tenders, EOIs and project costings for a range of major construction projects.
  • Lead the preparation of detailed and accurate tenders, including first principle estimating, quantity take-offs, cost analysis, for project tenders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including surveyors and procurement, to leverage additional expertise and ensure tender accuracy.

About you

Are you  a proactive Civil Estimator with a passion to lead.

  •  Tertiary qualifications in Civil engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years’ experience in civil construction estimating, ideally with a combination of project and estimating experience
  • Strong first-principle estimating skills are essential.
  •  Ability to lead tenders and manage multiple tenders simultaneously
  • 4-5 years’ experience in construction cost planning, tendering, or project delivery on large-scale infrastructure projects Ability to work unsupervised
  • Competent in Identify commercial risks and advantages within the tender process
  • Highly effective communication skills with strong negotiation and client management and interface capacity with a commitment to promote growth in the business groups
  • Hold a full class driving Licence
